From 8 August 2020 the Albertinum is open daily (except Monday) from 11 to 17. On Friday the special exhibition "Ernst Barlach. On the 150th Anniversary of his Birth" is open until 20.

The phenomenon of mass human activity is one of the main themes of the internationally renowned Polish artist Magdalena Abakanowicz (1930-2017).

She is especially well known for her striking groups of headless human figures. The radical absence of the head – arguably the most essential distinguishing feature of human identity – indicates the anonymity of the individual among the masses. The exhibition in the Lipsiusbau marking the artist’s 90th birthday is being planned in cooperation with Pawilon Czterech Kopuł (Wrocław).
